JRA is passionate about embracing our client's project goals while serving them through the design process. We focus on providing high-performance quality design utilizing 3D BIM technology with traditional hand-made modeling to clearly communicate project designs to our clients and their stakeholders.

This project is the first private company to locate in the new Air/Commerce Park at Newport News Williamsburg International Airport. A two-story corporate office connects with a 20,774 S.F. hangar and maintenance and waiting areas. The hangar is designed to accommodate the largest
non-commercial jet in the world.
This project, located in City Center in Newport News, is a beautifully designed, multi-million dollar medical building. Sitting alongside another of JRA's designs, it adds height and geometric shape to the otherwise traditional architecture in the area.
This project was divided into three components; the historic saga, the artifacts gallery, and the conservation wing. All of these elements were combined into a single complex open to hundreds of thousands of visitors. Furthermore, as this facility is now one of the nations' premier naval exhibitions, a new entry concourse with gift shop and cafe was required to handle increased attendance.

“As an architect you design for the present, with an awareness of the past, for a future which is essentially unknown.”
- Norman Foster
